1. 2. The State of Maryland has filed the attached document in response to the Commission’s Public Notice DA 11-1146 (also attached) relative to a request by NPSTC for the FCC to identify 700 MHz narrowband voice channels in support of air-to-ground operations. The essential question contained in the Public Notice asks whether a rule making procedure should be opened. Jurisdictions with public safety aircraft operations are particularly encouraged to respond to the FCC Public Notice. Comments are due this Friday, July 15.
