3. Many persons in public safety are vitally concerned with the issues associated with new technology that could adversely impact GPS systems. NPSTC has a new web page devoted to this issue. Please see:
4. Attached are two PowerPoint slides from NIST that illustrate the basic idea on providing a useful interface to the RF propagation data collected over the last several years at NIST. The first slide is slide shows a conceptual interface for the “General User”, while the second slide shows the interface for a user that desires more details. The intent is to provide both interfaces; the user would select between the two. Hopefully we can get feedback on 1) the usefulness of such a tool, and 2) how to present the final data (e.g., the bar graph result showing percent coverage in slide 1) in a meaningful manner to the intended users.
