Outreach News - 4/18/2011

1. The FCC has issued an Order on Reconsideration that addresses three petitions for reconsideration of an Order by the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau and the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau (the Bureaus).1 The Order granted a request filed by (ReconRobotics) for a waiver of the Commission’s Part 90 rules to permit certification and use of the Recon Scout, a remote-controlled, maneuverable surveillance robot operating in the 420-450 MHz band.

Granted ARRL's request for a modified labeling requirement. (Dkt No. 08-63 ).
