FCC Order- 800 MHz Rebanding

The FCC has postponed the 800 MHz rebanding financial reconciliation “true-up” date from December 31, 2009 to June 30, 2010, and now requires the 800 MHz Transition Administrator (TA) to file a report by May 31, 2010, with its recommendation on whether the true-up date should occur on June 30, 2010, or be further postponed.

P25 Interconnectivity of Systems through the ISSI

In one statewide project that we’re now reviewing, the “system of systems” concept through P25 has arisen as an issue. The attached is a brief bit of information from Motorola on the ISSI through the ASTRO25 infrastructure.
